This saying is behind the digital montages in these two series of digital art by the Danish artist, Hans Jørgen Bendixen

Synesthesia is the Latin word for the human ability where the sound of music involuntarily evokes an experience of colour, shape, and movement.

The artist behind the artwork in these two series has strived for the individual montages to express what he saw in the individual pieces of music

The Bliss Series

An Empty Bliss Beyond This World is a collection of 15 abstract images created by the Danish artist, Hans Jørgen Bendixen and inspired by the music of British ambient musician, Leylan Kirby aka The Caretaker.

The Mozart Series

A collection of 14 abstract digital montages by Danish artist, Hans Jørgen Bendixen. Each of the montages in this series is linked to a specific movement in Mozart's great choral work: Requiem KV 626.
